Bill Foster came to Texas to make his fortune and found work as a foreman on a ranch that people say is haunted. With the help of an Indian and the daughter of the house, Nelly, Bill can get to the bottom of the matter and free Jim Corbett, who was held prisoner in the house by the owner Spielman. The evil spirit is Spielman's black servant Sam. Bill is now a hero and is elected sheriff.
Remarks
The film was shot in the “Kraemer” recording studio in Asnières-sur-Seine .
The film song is called C'est au rhythme du Tango and is interpreted by the main actor Fernandel. A “cinema novel” was also published as a book.
