La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .
It is located in the administrative region of Outaouais and consists of 22 subordinate administrative units (two cities, 13 municipalities, two cantonal municipalities and five unincorporated areas). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1983. The main town is Gracefield . The population is 20,511 and the area is 12,374.8 km², which corresponds to a population density of 1.7 inhabitants per km².
