The Laak Canal is about 4 km long flowing water in the north of the Hanseatic city of Rostock .

The Laak Canal rises south of the Rostock district of Diedrichshagen and flows from there in an easterly direction. It flows north of the Lichtenhagen district , crosses under the city motorway, flows south along the Warnow shipyard and finally flows into the Unterwarnow .
