In summer the Laaxersee is open for bathing. A kiosk and a beach volleyball court are available to guests in a public bathing beach. In the summer of 2009, Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream was performed in Romansh on an open-air stage . In winter a restaurant is set up on the bank. As soon as the ice cover is thick enough, the lake becomes a natural ice rink.
