The Labobar is a passenger ship operated by the island nation of Indonesia . It can carry 3,084 passengers and 32 containers and was built at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg , Emsland, under construction number S.663. It is the 23rd ship from this shipyard for Indonesia and belongs to the Type 3000 specially developed for inter-island traffic in Indonesia. The operator of the ship is PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia.

On June 26, 2004 the ship was christened and handed over to the shipping company. The ship's godmother was the Indonesian Minister for Women, Sri Redjeki Sumarjoto .
