The Lac Nantais is a lake in the north of the Ungava Peninsula in the Canadian province of Quebec .
The lake is 160 km south of the Hudson Strait and 30 km south of the Parc national des Pingualuit . The elongated lake with west-east orientation has a strongly structured shoreline. It has a length of 78 km and a width of 9 km. The lake area is 262 km². The lake is located in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of about 367 m . Lac Nantais is drained from the Rivière Arpalirtuq , which leaves it at Goulet Qurngualuk , to Lac Klotz 40 km south .
