The Hudson Strait ( English Hudson Strait ; French Détroit d'Hudson ) is a strait in Canada that connects the Hudson Bay and the Labrador Sea over a length of around 700 km between the Ungava Peninsula and the Baffin Island, and further along with the Atlantic Ocean manufactures. At its "narrowest" point it is still around 120 km wide, at its widest it is a little more than 200 km.

The Hudson Street was first explored in 1517 by the Italian Sebastian Caboto . But it was named after Henry Hudson , who in 1610 managed to pass through to the bay, which was also named after him.
