The Desbarats Strait is a strait in to Nunavut ( Canada owned) part of the Queen Elizabeth Islands , the Findlay Group (in the north) and Cameron Iceland separates (in the south). It connects the Byam Martin Channel in the west with the part of the sea surrounded by Cameron Island, the Findlay Group, King Christian , Ellef Ringnes , Amund Ringnes , Cornwall , Devon , Bathurst and Helena Island in the east. The strait is 35 kilometers long and 50 kilometers wide.
