Dease Strait is a strait between the Kent Peninsula on the mainland and Victoria Island to the north , which is part of the Canadian Arctic archipelago . It connects the Queen Maud Gulf in the east with the Coronation Gulf in the west.
At its eastern end, it is only 18 km wide. There is the Cambridge Bay settlement on Victoria Island .
