The Danish Strait is a strait in Nunavut ( Canada ) that joins King Christian's Thor Island and Ellef Ringnes Island (in the north) belonging to the Sverdrup Islands (part of the Queen Elizabeth Islands and thus the Canadian Arctic archipelago ) Iceland (in the south) separates. The 60 kilometer long and 15 kilometer wide strait flows into the Maclean Strait in the west and into the part of the sea ​​surrounded by King Christian, Ellef Ringnes, Amund Ringnes , Cornwall , Devon , Bathurst , Helena , Cameron and Lougheed Island in the southeast .
