The Sir William Parker Strait is a strait in the province of Nunavut , Canada . It is located in the Bathurst Group of the Parry Islands within the Queen Elizabeth Islands (part of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago ) and separates the northern island of Helena Island from the main island of Bathurst Island . It is 32 kilometers long and 7 kilometers wide and communicates at both ends with the seaside bordered by Bathurst, Helena, Cameron , Lougheed , King Christian , Ellef Ringnes , Amund Ringnes , Cornwall and Devon Island .
