The Evans Strait is a strait in Nunavut ( Canada ) that separates the two islands of Southampton Island (in the north) and Coats Island (in the south) in the north of Hudson Bay . The strait in the Canadian-Arctic archipelago is 90 kilometers long and 70 kilometers wide. In the west of the strait joins the Fisher Strait and in the southeast it flows into the open Hudson Bay.
