The Lac de Longemer is an Ice Age glacial lake located in France in the Grand Est region in the Vosges department . The inflow and outflow of the lake is through the river Vologne . It lies on the western flank of the Vosges in a chain of lakes that includes the Lac de Retournemer further upstream and the Lac de Gérardmer further downstream .

The Lac de Longemer is located in the municipality of Xonrupt-Longemer at an altitude of 735 meters and covers an area of ​​about 76 hectares. Its length is around two kilometers, the maximum width 550 and the depth 34 meters. The body of water is located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park and is ideally suited for gentle tourism .
