Lachlan Watson (* 2001 in Raleigh, North Carolina ) is an American national and an actor , best known for her debut in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Susie / Theo Putnam.

Life

Lachlan Watson was assigned “ female ” as the gender at birth . Raised in Raleigh, Watson graduated from high school through a home-schooling program in 2018.

Watson began acting as a child at the Burning Coal Theater, where his mother worked. Watson became active in the triangle theater scene and got smaller roles in the television shows Nashville and Drop Dead Diva . 2015 was Watson of the Raleigh Little Theater's production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing ( " Much Ado About Nothing ").

In 2016, Watson received a permanent role in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina after submitting a test recording at a national casting call . Watson plays the role of the genderqueer character Theo Putnam (formerly "Susie") and stated that in order to shape the character and the way the character's plot is written to appeal to the genderqueer viewers on own experiences were used. At the time of his debut in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina , Watson was one of the youngest actors in Hollywood to identify himself as non-binary . In the second season, Watson's character comes out as a trans man and changes his name from Susie to Theo.

In November 2018, Watson was featured in a Netflix production called What I Wish You Knew: About Being Nonbinary , where it was discussed along with other non-binary celebrities such as Liv Hewson , Jacob Tobia and Shiva Raichandani.

Watson is a feminist , expressly identifies himself as non-binary and erotic as pansexual ; In relation to himself, Watson claims the singular pronoun they (untranslatable in German).
