Ladislaus Boguslawski

Ladislaus Edler von Ligenza-Leitgeb or Ligenza-Korab Boguslawski (born May 24, 1847 in Chernivtsi , † November 26, 1896 in Vienna ) was an Austrian architect .

Ladislaus Boguslawski is first documented in Vienna in 1873 when he joined the Austrian Association of Engineers and Architects. From 1875 he also belonged to the Lower Austrian Trade Association .

Boguslawski, who mainly built palais-like houses in the center of Vienna in the 1870s and 1880s, was committed to a strict historicism . His buildings were laid out in an exceptionally representative manner, which corresponded to the taste of the urban bourgeoisie.
