Ladislav Dvořák (poet)

Ladislav Dvořák (born December 1, 1920 in Krásněves , † June 22, 1983 in Rokycany ) was a Czech poet and prose writer.

Life

After the Second World War he began to study Bohemian Studies and Philosophy at Charles University in Prague, which he did not complete. From 1948 he earned himself as a worker, editor and librarian. 1970–1977 he worked as an assistant in the Slovak library in Prague. He lost this position after signing Charter 77 .
