The Lago Carezza is a 180 m long, 80 m wide and up to 2 m deep sea at the Scott-coast of the east Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located 6 km east of Mount Abbott and 2.6 km south-southwest of the Mario Zucchelli station in the Northern Foothills on the shores of Terra Nova Bay at an altitude of 167 m .
Italian scientists named it in 1997 because of its similar appearance after the Karersee ( Italian Lago di Carezza ) in South Tyrol .
