The Lago Lanalhue ( Mapudungun : ḻaṉallwe - "place of the punished souls", German : Lanalhue-See ) is a lake in Chile .
It is located between the cities of Cañete and Contulmo in the province of Arauco , Región del Bío-Bío on the western slope of the Nahuelbuta Cordillera . It is known for its warm water and the presence of the black necked swan .

The lake is located 145 km from Concepcíon south of Tres Pinos on the national road Ruta CH-160 at an altitude of 8 meters above sea level.
