Lagoa Lamessana

The Lagoa Lamessana is a saltwater lagoon in East Timor Suco Ma'abat (Office of Administration Manatuto , community Manatuto ) on the north coast of Timor . It is located about ten kilometers east of the city of Manatuto , on a bay and is the habitat of numerous water birds. The lagoon is divided into a western and an eastern part, simulating the shape of a lung . Large areas of the region are flooded during the rainy season. Outside of this, the lagoon falls dry.
