Life

Lajos Egri became famous for his book "Dramatic Writing", published in 1946, which is now considered a classic of the writing textbooks. The basis of Egri's approach is the concentration on character development. In contrast to the classic view, which focuses on the development of plot structures, Egri saw character development as the core of the writing process. This approach has caught on and is now adopted by many creative writing teachers . The techniques presented were used for writing short stories , novels and especially screenplays . He designed the concept of the three-dimensional figure (including: physiology, sociology and psychology level).
