The Lake Ferris is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located 2.2 km north of Blundell Peak in the Larsemann Hills .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1987 after the biologist John Ferris, who was active in two Antarctic summer campaigns between 1985 and 1987 at Davis Station and in the Larsemann Hills.
