The Lake Jaques is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Larsemann Hills it is 3.5 km southwest of the Law Racoviță station . Its south bank is determined by the ice cliffs of the Antarctic Ice Sheet .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after the meteorologist George "Tony" Jaques, deputy head of a 1987 campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
