The Lake McNeill is an east-west oriented lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located 500 m west of Lake Cowan in the eastern part of the Vestfold Mountains .
The lake is on the route between Davis Station and the Platcha Weather Station . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Alan RB McNeill, a physicist at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1969.
