The lake forms a tourist destination. There are two major hotels on the lake: Cottonwood Cove and Lake Mohave Resort . Both resorts have accommodations, campsites, restaurants, shops, and various boat decks. Popular recreational activities at Lake Mohave include swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating, and water skiing. Due to the year-round opportunities for recreational activities, the lake attracts numerous visitors, including from other states.
