The Lake oid is a small lake in the Denton Hills of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . Along with Lake Iule, it is one of two small lakes between Penance Pass and Lake Buddha .
Scientists in a campaign carried out by Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions from 1960 to 1961 named it after an English-language diminutive for German small .
