Lakewood Louie , actually George Shaw , is an American poker player . He is four-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Poker career

Career

Lakewood Louie first took part in the World Series of Poker at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas in 1978 and won a tournament in the draw variant . He prevailed against six other players, which earned him a bracelet and more than $ 20,000 in prize money. In May 1979, he secured two more bracelets for two consecutive days. In the 1979 Main Event , he became the first player in WSOP history to win a hand with a royal flush . Lakewood Louie was also successful in a tournament at the 1980 WSOP and won his fourth bracelet. Nothing is known about his further life.
