history
In 1979 Hubert and Elfie Landefeld founded their company in Staufenberg, Nienhagen . In the early days, the company mainly offered technical support and advice in the field of automation technology , as well as compressor maintenance. In addition, the family company produced sequence controls and control cabinets, primarily in the pneumatic sector. In the same year there was also the first PLC controls , as well as special machine construction on offer. In 1985 the company expanded its product range to include hydraulic components and moved to an office and warehouse complex in Kassel. At the end of the 1980s, Landefeld stopped manufacturing special machines and increasingly concentrated on trade. In 1993 Landefeld became the exclusive representative of Sang-A for Germany. In 1998 there was a generation change and the brothers Marc and Lars Landefeld took over the management of the company, and in 2005 the company moved to its current headquarters.

Customers include specialist dealers as well as small, medium and large companies. Landefeld is a contractual partner of Festo , Aventics and Hydac and has a fully automated warehouse with a total area of 27,000 m². The company is a member of the VDMA and, according to the Kassel Region Economic Development Agency, is one of the region’s major employers.
