The State Horticultural Show Eutin 2016 was the third State Horticultural Show in Schleswig-Holstein . It took place from April 28 to October 3, 2016 in the district town of Eutin in the Ostholstein district.
Geographical location
It took place in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Eutin , about 45 kilometers southeast of the state capital Kiel . The area of the state horticultural show comprised 27 hectares , which extended over the parts of the Seepark, City Bay, Castle Garden, Building Yard Area and Süduferpark.
history
In 2012, the city of Eutin was awarded the contract to hold the third Schleswig-Holstein State Garden Show in 2016. In the course of preparing the exhibition areas, the old town was extensively renovated.
organization
The motto of the garden show was "Become one with nature." The event was sponsored by the City of Eutin and the State Garden Show Eutin 2016 gGmbH. The implementation budget was around 10 million euros.
The managing directors were Bernd Rubelt and Martin Klehs.
