Landsatz is a district of the Damnatz municipality in the Elbtalaue municipality in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The Marschhufendorf is located two kilometers north of Damnatz on the eastern Elbe .
history
The name of the place is derived from the Slavic term lanka (curvature, bay, meadow, floodplain).
For the year 1848 it is stated that Landsatz had 21 residential buildings in which 135 residents lived. At the time the place was parish to Damnatz, where the school was located. On December 1, 1910, Landsatz had 117 inhabitants and was an independent municipality in the Dannenberg district .
