Jasebeck is a district of the Damnatz municipality in the Elbtalaue municipality in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The place is located three kilometers northeast of Damnatz and is surrounded by the Elbe to the north .
history
The Good Jasebeck was before about 700 years ago as Vorwerk mention of the castle Wehningen on the opposite side of the river. Over the centuries it was owned by the Counts of Dannenberg and the von Bülow family . The Jasebeck manor house was built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Counts of Bernstorff-Wehningen , today their descendants from the von Plato family live there . In the period from 1892 or 1893 to 1945, the West Frisian island of Schiermonnikoog also belonged to the Wehningen-Jasebeck estate.
For the year 1848 it is stated that Jasebeck had three residential buildings as Vorwerk , in which 43 people lived. At the time, the place was parish to Wehningen on the other side of the Elbe, where the school was also located. On December 1, 1910, Jasebeck had 27 residents and was an estate district in the Dannenberg district . Jasebeck was before 1925 after the country set incorporated.
