Justin Rafael Steven Gerlach (born February 2, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at MSV Normannia 08 and 1. FC Lübars , he moved to Hertha BSC's youth department in the summer of 2002 . After various positions in the Regionalliga Nordost at Hertha BSC II , TSG Neustrelitz and the Berlin AK 07 , he moved within the league to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in summer 2013 . With his new club he made it to the 3rd division at the end of the 2016/17 season . For his first appearance in the professional field, he came on the 2nd match day in the 0-2 home defeat against SC Fortuna Köln , where he was in the starting lineup.

After the end of the 2018/19 season , the defender's contract in Jena was no longer extended and he returned to his hometown. There he was re-signed by his old club, the northeast regional league Berliner AK 07 .
