Lane Motor Museum

The Lane Motor Museum is located in Nashville in the US state of Tennessee . It was founded by Jeff Lane, who redesigned the premises of a former bakery. Many features of the original building have been preserved, such as the high ceiling with natural light, the handcrafted bricks and the maple wood floor. The architectural style adapts to the age of the cars. The ground floor has an open area of ​​around 40,000 sqft (approx. 3700 m²).

The museum works as a non-profit organization .

Exhibits

The museum was opened in 2003 with 70 collection items. The number of automobiles on display increased from year to year. At the end of 2015, over 450 exhibits were already on display. Old-timer models of passenger cars produced mainly in Europe will be presented. A smaller number of light vehicles (e.g. Peel P50 , BMW Isetta ), amphibious vehicles , trucks and vehicles with propeller drives are also on display.
