Parallel and transverse lying

The barrows Ildbjerggård (also Ildbjerg or Kirstinelund Langdysse or Nødager SB called 137) is Nødager on the East Jutland peninsula Djursland , each about one kilometer north of the rod edge, east of Krarup. The area is rich in dolmens (e.g. Ginnerup Jyndovnen ) and in this respect forms the southern counterpart to the concentration around Stenvad north of the Kolindsund . The large stone grave dates from the Neolithic around 3500–2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).

description

The well-preserved north-east-south-west oriented megalithic bed of the Langdysse looks complete again after a restoration in 1957, during which several of the 32 curbs were added to the 25.0 m long and 7.5 m wide bed. The northeastern end stones of the megalithic bed are particularly large. The highlighting of a narrow side can also be observed in the Visbeker Braut installation on the Wildeshauser Geest and some other installations. The "Fredningsstenen" on the hill proves that the facility was protected as early as 1887 and therefore quite early. The long dolmen has not been archaeologically examined.

The long bed contains two transverse rectangular columns . The north-eastern one is missing the capstones and with the exception of one bearing stone, all bearing and capstones of the corridor have also disappeared.

The south-west chamber is intact except for the missing gangue stones and is still covered by a large reddish granite stone.

At Ildbjerggård there is also a small round hill where only the top of the chamber's capstone can be seen. A short distance to the north are the dolmen at Sognevejen in Nødager .
