The Langmann coat of arms

The Langmann were a patrician family from the imperial city of Nuremberg . They were represented in the Inner Council from 1352 to 1369 . The family migrated in 1381.

In the 14th century, Cunz Langmann owned an iron hammer in Reichenschwand and in Rollhofen , possibly he was also the founder of these hammer works. The Reichenschwander hammer is mentioned for the first time in the document of the Upper Palatinate hammer association from 1387.
