The Lapväärtinjoki ( Swedish Lappfjärds å ) is a river in the Finnish landscapes of southern Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia . Its upper course is called Isojoki .
It has its origin south of the Lauhanvuori National Park . It flows in a north-westerly direction and flows south of Kristinestad into the Lappfjärdsfjärden and the Gulf of Bothnia . Its catchment area covers 1098.1 km². The total length of the river is 75 km. Isojoki is located on the course of the river .
