Lara Thomae (born April 29, 1993 in Nijmegen ) is a former Dutch ski jumper .

Career

Thomae was trained at the Stams Ski School and lives in Nijmegen. In August 2007 she made her debut in Bischofsgrün in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup 2007/08 and reached 48th place in the mat jumping. At her first Continental Cup competition on snow in December that year in Notodden , Thomae was able to win first points in 13th place. It is also her best position so far in this top racing series. Even after that, the Dutchwoman was able to place herself in the points again and again, but she rarely achieved results under the top 20. At the Junior World Championships in Zakopane in 2008 she reached the 21st place and in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso she reached the 20th place. At the first Nordic World Ski Championships in 2009 for female ski jumpers, she reached the finals and ended up 31st and last. At the Junior World Championships 2010 in Hinterzarten she finished 15th.
