Laraki Automobiles was a Moroccan automobile manufacturer based in Casablanca .
history
In 1997 Abdeslam Laraki founded the company. In 2002 the production of automobiles began . The brand name was Laraki . Production ended in 2008. Two vehicles were built in 2002 and six in the following year.
Models
The first model was the Fulgura super sports car . It was presented as a prototype at the Geneva Motor Show in 2002 . The chassis was made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic and the body of aluminum . A V12 engine of the Lamborghini made with the aid of a turbocharger from 6000 cc engine capacity 720 hp . In addition, a V8 engine from Mercedes-Benz with 5500 cm³ displacement and 600 hp has been handed down. With a wheelbase of 270 cm, the vehicle was 444 cm long, 206 cm wide and 120 cm high. The curb weight was given as 1250 kg.
In 2003 the prototype of the Borac was shown at the Geneva Motor Show. From 2006 it was made to order. It had a V12 engine from Mercedes-Benz with a displacement of 6000 cc and 540 hp. The vehicle had a wheelbase of 260 cm, a length of 462 cm, a width of 199 cm and a height of 126 cm. The empty weight was 1500 kg.
