Julian David Morris (born January 13, 1983 in London , England ) is a British actor.

Life

Julian Morris' mother is from Zimbabwe , his father from South Africa . The families of both come from Russia, Lithuania and Belarus and immigrated to Africa.

Morris received acting lessons at the Anna Scher Theater , an acting school in Islington , London. Here he was discovered at the age of 13 for his first role as a drug-dealing boy for an episode of the British drama series The Knock . After further years of training, he played for three seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company .

As a film and television actor, Morris is mostly active in the United States , so from 2005 he played in films such as Cry Wolf (2005) and Whirlygirl (2006). In television series, he took on individual episode roles such as in the lawyer series Shark or appeared in several episodes of the last season of Emergency Room as Dr. Andrew Wade and in the eighth season 24 as Agent Owen.

From 2010, Morris starred in the drama / mystery series Pretty Little Liars in 22 episodes as Wren Kingston. In the fantasy series Once Upon a Time - Once Upon a Time ... he played in the second and third seasons as Prince Phillip. In addition to his engagement, he continues to work in British productions, for example in the film Kelly + Victor (2012) as Victor. From 2014 to 2015 he played in the US sitcom New Girl to Ryan Geauxinue . In 2014 he got the role of Paul Curtis in the Amazon series Hand of God , a priest of the eponymous church Hand of God.
