Larkhall is a Scottish town in the Council Area South Lanarkshire , 30 kilometers southeast of Glasgow on the right bank of the River Clyde , with 14,951 inhabitants.
The industrial city of West Scotland has lost a large part of its traditional occupations - mining, ironworking, weaving, textiles - and has a relatively high level of unemployment. In addition to the proximity to Glasgow, future prospects offer good transport connections to Hamilton , Motherwell , Wishaw , Lanark , Stonehouse and Strathaven .
