Larry Manetti

Larry Manetti (born July 23, 1947 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor , best known for his role as Orville "Rick" Wright in the television series Magnum .

Life

Manetti grew up in Chicago, where he also studied acting. He is married to actress Nancy DeCarl and has a son named Lorenzo. He speaks Italian very well and was a foster son of Frank Sinatra .

Manetti's first television appearance was the role of a police officer in Jack Webb's series The Chase (1974). He then played the pilot Bobby Boyle in the series Pazifikgeschwader 214 . In 1979 he starred in the short-lived series The Duke . The next year he took on the role of Orville "Rick" Wright in the new television series Magnum , which brought him worldwide fame.

Manetti is a half-brother of the actor Robert Conrad , with whom he played in Pacific Wing 214 .
