Lars Høgvold (born September 11, 1888 in Løten ; † December 31, 1963 in Lillehammer ) was a Norwegian skier who was successful in ski jumping and Nordic combined .

Career

At the Norwegian Championships in Skien in 1910 , Høgvold won bronze in the individual combination behind Lauritz Bergendahl and Andres Innleggen . Two years later he repeated this success at the Norwegian Championships in Trondheim in 1912 . Just another year later, he achieved his best result by winning the silver medal behind Johan Kristoffersen . In the same year he won the special combination competition held as the women's cup at Holmenkollen.

In 1916 Høgvold was awarded the Holmenkollen Medal .

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1926 , he reached sixth place on the normal hill.

After his active career he worked as a coach in his home club, Lillehammer SK . Then Høgvold held various positions in the Norwegian Ski Association .
