Lars Stark (born July 20, 1983 in Germany ) is a German chess player .

Life

Lars Stark learned to play chess at the age of 13. The SC Erkrath in the Düsseldorf area was his home for several years as a youth and adult player until he switched to the Düsseldorf SK 1914/25 in 2005 , for which he played on the first board in the NRW Oberliga. In the meantime, he played with Schachfreunde Gerresheim in the 2nd Bundesliga West, then moved back to the Düsseldorf SK 1914/25 . The Düsseldorf SK 1914/25 played in the 2nd Bundesliga West in the 2013/2014 season. In the Dutch Meester class , Stark played for Utrecht in the 2011/12 season and for the Schaakvereniging Voerendaal in the 2017/18 season , in the Belgian Interclubs he has been playing for KSK 47 Eynatten since 2014 , with whom he became Belgian team champion in 2017 .

At the end of November 2007 he was named International Master by the World Chess Federation FIDE . Of his three standards, he achieved two in 2006 - the first at the Neckar Open Deizisau in April 2006, the second at the GM tournament in Hereford ( England ) in November 2006; Lars Stark achieved the last norm at the end of August 2007 in the IM round trip tournament in Coulsdon (England).
