Lars T. Lih

Lars T. Lih (born September 10, 1947 in Richland , Washington ) is a Canadian historian and music historian of American origin.

Lars T. Lih studied at Yale University and Oxford University . He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Princeton University in 1984 . He has taught at Wellesley College and Duke University and is now Professor of Music History at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal .

Lih mainly publishes on the history of the early Soviet Union . Together with Oleg V. Naumov and Oleg V. Khlevniuk , he edited Stalin's letters to Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov .
