The Latschenkopf ( 1712  m ) is a summit in the Bavarian Prealps on the ridge between Brauneck and Benediktenwand .

The mountain can be reached in one hour from the Idealhanghütte (also called Stie-Alm ) in the Brauneck ski area and on the transition from Brauneck (mountain railway) to Benediktenwand or Tutzinger Hütte via the Stangeneck in one and a half hours.

There is a second mountain in the Benediktenwand area called Latschenkopf , which is much smaller and is located south of the Benediktenwand.
