Laudus , also called Laudo , Laud or , († around 568) is a saint of the Roman Catholic Church . He had been Bishop of Coutances in Normandy since 529 at the latest .

There is evidence of Laudus' participation in the Synods of Orléans in 533, 538, 541 and 549. He was especially ascribed to pastoral zeal and charity . 875's are relics of Bayeux transferred have been; further mortal remains are said to be u. a. in Rouen , Angers and Saint-Lô . A veneration of Laudus has been documented since the ninth century. He is the main patron of the Diocese of Coutances with his own form of measurement . His feast day is September 21.
