Laura Rahn

Laura Gabriele Rahn (born May 28,  1986 in Hamburg ) is a German basketball player .

career

The 1.86-meter-long wing and inside player switched from TSV Uetersen  to SC Rist Wedel as a teenager . In the 2003/04 season she was included in the Wedel squad for the women's Bundesliga . In 2004 she won the German championship title in the U18 age group with Wedel. In 2006 she took part in the European Championship with the German U20 national team.

After Wedel's relegation from the Bundesliga, Rahn also played in the 2nd Bundesliga for the club in 2010, she moved to BG '89 Rotenburg / Scheeßel (2nd Bundesliga) and after a year with Lower Saxony, Rahn accepted an offer from the first division team TV Saarlouis . After the Bundesliga relegation in 2012, she was involved as a service provider and captain in bringing the Saarlanders back to the top German division in the 2012/13 season. In 2014 Rahn, whose main job is a police officer, moved within the Bundesliga from Saarlouis to Rotenburg / Scheeßel and played for the Lower Saxony club until 2017. Then she played again for Rist Wedel (now in the 2nd regional league).
