Laura Sarah Widak (born January 5, 1997 ) is a German soccer player . She was under contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen until the 2017/18 season .
Career
societies
Laura Widak started playing soccer in kindergarten and joined her hometown club FV Salia Sechtem at the age of nine, where she played with boys until 2013. In 2012, she took part in the U-15 national cup for the national team of the Mittelrhein Football Association and was the top goalscorer of the tournament with four goals in the U-17 country cup in the same year. In March 2013 she was a member of the U-16 team of the DFB , which took eleventh place in the U-19 country cup. For the 2013/14 season , the attacker switched to Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where she signed a two-year contract. On September 8, 2013, she made her Bundesliga debut on the first day of the match in a 3-0 win against FCR 2001 Duisburg .
National team
Widak played their first game for the German U-16 national team in their 2-1 defeat against Denmark on April 16, 2013 and scored their first goal in this game, which they followed two days later - again against Denmark - the second let.
