Wilson ran her first of a total of 16 individual World Cup races in Silver Star in December 1991 , which she finished classically in 43rd place over 5 km. In December 1992, in Davos , she won her first win in the Continental Cup over the 5 km freestyle . At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer she finished 49th over 30 km classic, 35th place over 15 km freestyle and tenth place with the relay. This 35th place was also her best placement in the World Cup singles and repeated this placement in the pursuit in Thunder Bay in March 1994 . In the 1995/96 season she won six and in the 1996/97 season three races in the Continental Cup. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim in 1997 she came in 55th place over 5 km classic, 44th place over 15 km freestyle and 43rd place in the pursuit. She completed her last individual World Cup race in November 1997 in Beitostølen , which she finished classically in 73rd place over 5 km. Her best placements at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano were 36th place over 30 km freestyle and 15th place with the relay.
