Laura Wontorra (born February 26, 1989 in Bremen , real name Laura Ariane Christel Wontorra-Zoller ) is a German television presenter .

biography

Family, education and beginnings

Wontorra is the daughter of the moderator Jörg Wontorra and the editor Ariane Wontorra, geb. Moskau. Wontorra lives in Cologne and has been married to professional soccer player Simon Zoller since November 12, 2016 . She supports her father's Hanseatic Foundation and, like this one, is a fan of the Bundesliga soccer club Werder Bremen .

After graduating from high school, from October 2008 to September 2011 she studied media management with a focus on PR and communication at the Macromedia University for Media and Communication in Cologne . After completing her studies in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts and numerous internships (including at 1. FC Köln ), she did an internship at Sky Germany until March 2013 .

Television career

During her traineeship and then until June 2013 she worked as a moderator and reporter as well as a field reporter for Sky. From July 2013 she was a presenter and field reporter at Sport1 . In March 2017, she switched to RTL Group , where she has been working for Nitro since the 2017/18 season as a presenter and reporter for the Bundesliga Monday show and also supports RTL's reporting on the German national soccer team's World Cup qualifiers .

In the entertainment area of RTL , Wontorra has been moderating Ninja Warrior Germany since 2016 .

Since 2019 she has moderated the coverage of the UEFA Europa League matches on RTL . Since 2020 she has been moderating the cooking show Grill den Henssler on VOX .
