Lauren Bruce (born March 23, 1997 ) is a New Zealand hammer and discus thrower .

Athletic career

Lauren Bruce gained her first international experience in 2013 at the U18 Oceania Championships in Papeete , where she took sixth place in the shot put with 12.74 m, the silver medal with 39.22 m in the discus throw and the gold medal in the hammer throw with 55.10 m won. In 2016 she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with discus and hammer , but was eliminated from the qualification there with 42.30 m and 55.17 m. In 2019 she finished fourth in the hammer throw at the Oceania Championships in Townsville with 63.12 m and was fifth with the discus with a width of 51.84 m. Then she classified at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 62.50 m in seventh place in the hammer throw and was eliminated in the discus competition with 47.68 m in the qualification.
